Here we discuss the characteristics of a Computer. Basically, there are 5 main Characteristics of a Computer:

1. Speed

It means that computer is very fast speed device. It does the work at a very high speed in a nano seconds of time that a human can do in one day or 2 days or even in a month.

2. Accuracy

The accuracy of a computer is always very high and it depends upon the design. A Human Being may have lack of accuracy but computer can not do so as it is already instructed and programmed by the human.

3. Data Storage

A Computer stores lots of data to process and provides meaningful information to users. Actually, the computer has secondary storage capacity to recall and collect any information stored in it. But a human may forget the information after some period of time.

4. Efficiency

Efficiency of a computer is very important for a home or business life. One moment, a computer can transfer the files to USB Devices and the other next moment, it may print out the documents of the projects or books.

5. Automation

Automation means that can process the task without the help of human being. Once the instruction is fed out, the computer will automatically perform the desired task set out in the commands. For Example, ATM Machine is used in Banking System For Deposit And Withdraw of E-Currency In Paper Form.
